From Limoges take the N141 (E603) to Angouleme and where the by-pass finishes, take the 2nd junction off for Exideuil.  (There is a newly opened by-pass opened in 2013 which means you don't need to drive through the middle of Chabanais now, however if you choose to come off at the Chabanais junction; from the centre of Chabanais, continue on the Angouleme road and take the exit signposted Exideuil off the roundabout.)  Drive right through Exideuil; when you have the pharmacy on your left with the bar/restaurant opposite, there is a junction off to the right by the post office - take this road signposted Chirac.  Over the River Vienne and continue up that road for approximately 2km.  The road then has a junction to the left signposted Chirac, however the road heads around to the right (there is a newly built house on the corner at this junction).  Do not turn off to Chirac, continue on that road and we are situated on the left opposite the Igol garage.  If you come to a cross roads, you have gone too far.

If you are arriving via Confolens, head out of Confolens in the direction of Chabanais/Limoges.  You will pass Lidl and then the Gendarmerie and then there is a turning not long after that for Chirac (to the right), take this road an continue until you reach a crossroads - at the crossroads go straight ahead and you will enter Chirac.  From the Church at Chirac bear round to the left in the direction of Chabanais; by the school it is sign posted to via right to Chabanais; continue up this road to the top of the hill where you come to a cross roads  - take the turning to the right signposted Exideuil - you then enter the hamlet of Peyras and we are approximately 200m down there on the right.
